Pros & Cons
FundedNext pros & cons
The strengths and trade-offs our editors weigh when scoring this firm.
What traders like
- Overnight and weekend holding is permitted on Challenge and FundedNext accounts across the Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step and Lite lines, per the help centre article dated to the current site (checked 2026-08-09).
- Wide payment coverage: cards, PayPal, Skrill, Apple Pay, Google Pay, nine cryptocurrencies including USDT and USDC, Binance Pay, plus regional and local payment options.
- Low entry threshold for withdrawals: performance rewards can be requested from 20 USD via USDT or USDC, and from 50 USD via RiseWorks.
- Copy trading is explicitly permitted between a trader's own FundedNext challenge accounts, including VPS based copiers, up to 300,000 USD combined allocation.
- The firm publishes a defined reward cycle in writing: first reward at 21 days on Stellar 2-Step and Lite, then every 14 days; Stellar 1-Step every 5 business days.
What to watch
- Counterparty disclosure is inconsistent. The terms of service name GrowthNext F.Z.E. (Ajman Free Zone, No. 28831) as the contracting Provider, while the site footer states that trading activity is executed by FundedNext Ltd (Comoros, HY01023052) and that fundednext.com is operated by FundedNext Limited (Hong Kong). Checked 2026-08-09.
- Two of the four licence identifiers on the company page are printed masked, as 'License No. 700XXX' (Vanuatu Financial Services Commission) and 'DED License No. 12XXXX' (Dubai). A masked number cannot be checked against a public register. Checked 2026-08-09.
- The regulated entities named on the company page (FNmarkets Ltd under the Seychelles FSA, SD No. 137; an FSCA FSP No. 53187 entity) are group brokerage entities, not the entity a challenge customer contracts with under the terms of service.
- High frequency trading is prohibited and may lead to warnings or permanent account suspension, per the help centre.
- The homepage displays two different total reward figures in the same page load, 306.9 million USD and 316.1 million USD, so the headline payout claim is not internally consistent. Checked 2026-08-09.
- The terms of service state the service does not execute real market orders and operates exclusively in a simulated environment, and no execution broker is named for challenge accounts.

Rules
FundedNext rules, explained
The rules that actually get traders breached: what they are and how this firm sets them.
| Rule | FundedNext | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Drawdown type | Static | Trailing drawdown follows your equity peak and is the #1 cause of surprise breaches; static drawdown is fixed from starting balance and far more forgiving. |
| Consistency rule | 40% cap per day | Caps how much of your total profit can come from a single day. A strict cap can delay or void payouts for traders with a few big wins. |
| News trading | Allowed | Some firms void trades placed around high-impact news releases, which is critical if you trade NFP, CPI, or rate decisions. |
| Expert advisors (EAs) | Allowed | Determines whether automated strategies and copiers are permitted, and whether an EA can get your account flagged. |
| Minimum trading days | 5 days | The floor on how fast you can pass a phase, which matters if you trade infrequently or want to pass quickly. |
| Weekend / overnight holding | Allowed | Swing traders need positions to survive the Friday close. Where holding is barred, open trades are closed for you and gaps cannot be traded. |
| Copy trading | Allowed | Decides whether you can mirror one strategy across several accounts. Most firms that allow it restrict it to accounts you own yourself. |
| High-frequency trading | Not allowed | Firms police latency arbitrage and tick scalping hard, and an HFT breach is one of the most common reasons a passed account is voided. |
