Scored by Ayub Rana against our published methodology.
E8 Markets is a US-founded prop firm whose current lineup centers on the customizable E8 One 1-step evaluation ($5K to $500K, with selectable drawdown from 4% to 14% and profit split of 80%, 90%, or 100%) alongside the E8 Signature 2-step at $130 (50K), $260 (100K), and $390 (150K). Because fees scale with the chosen risk parameters, E8 One pricing varies per configuration; drawdown is trailing with an end-of-day option as the default characterization. The base profit split is 80% with paid upgrades to 90-100%, payouts run every 14 days with the first available after 8 days, and processing is reported at 1-2 days.

Pros & Cons
E8 Markets pros & cons
The strengths and trade-offs our editors weigh when scoring this firm.
What traders like
- No consistency rule in the evaluation stage. E8's help centre states there is no consistency rule in the SimFi Challenge stage for any account type, and none on E8 Pro or E8 Zero in the funded stage either.
- Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on every product and at every stage, which E8 states explicitly rather than leaving to interpretation.
- Payouts can be requested on demand rather than on a fixed cycle: daily on E8 Pro and E8 Zero, and any time on E8 One and E8 Signature once the Best Day rule is met, with a $100 minimum.
- E8 publishes median payout timings, 11 hours from request to approval and 24 hours to funds landing, measured 1 January to 1 May 2026.
- Expert Advisors are permitted, and copy trading between a trader's own accounts is permitted.
What to watch
- E8 One traders face a 40 percent Best Day rule at the payout stage: no single day may account for more than 40 percent of total profit, and net profit must exceed 50 percent of the daily drawdown. The evaluation is rule light, the payout stage is not.
- A high frequency trading limit applies: no more than 50 percent of trades may be held for under one minute.
- All fees are non-refundable in every circumstance under the Terms of Service, including failed KYC or geographic ineligibility, and chargebacks are treated as a material breach.
- Payouts run only through WorkMarket or Rise. Traders who cannot complete onboarding with either provider cannot be paid, and E8 offers no direct crypto payment route.
- E8 publishes no company registration number, and the site states it is operated by a second entity, Digital Renaissance LLC of Puerto Rico, alongside E8 Funding LLC of Dallas, Texas.
- The evaluation pass rate E8 itself discloses was 17.7 percent between 1 January 2023 and 1 March 2024.

Rules
E8 Markets rules, explained
The rules that actually get traders breached: what they are and how this firm sets them.
| Rule | E8 Markets | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Drawdown type | Trailing (end of day) | Trailing drawdown follows your equity peak and is the #1 cause of surprise breaches; static drawdown is fixed from starting balance and far more forgiving. |
| Consistency rule | None during the Challenge stage on any account, and none for E8 Pro or E8 Zero when funded. E8 One in Performance is subject to Payout on Demand rules, a 40% best-day cap on total profit. | Caps how much of your total profit can come from a single day. A strict cap can delay or void payouts for traders with a few big wins. |
| News trading | Restricted | Some firms void trades placed around high-impact news releases, which is critical if you trade NFP, CPI, or rate decisions. |
| Expert advisors (EAs) | Allowed | Determines whether automated strategies and copiers are permitted, and whether an EA can get your account flagged. |
| Minimum trading days | 0 days | The floor on how fast you can pass a phase, which matters if you trade infrequently or want to pass quickly. |
| Weekend / overnight holding | Allowed | Swing traders need positions to survive the Friday close. Where holding is barred, open trades are closed for you and gaps cannot be traded. |
| Copy trading | Allowed | Decides whether you can mirror one strategy across several accounts. Most firms that allow it restrict it to accounts you own yourself. |
| High-frequency trading | Not allowed | Firms police latency arbitrage and tick scalping hard, and an HFT breach is one of the most common reasons a passed account is voided. |

Maximum leverage
| Asset | 1-step |
|---|---|
| Forex | 1:30 |
Leverage caps your position size, so it decides which strategies fit this firm at all. Some firms reduce it once you are funded.
Commissions
| Asset | Cost per trade |
|---|---|
| Forex | $5 per standard lot round turn, charged once on open, on the raw-spread option. A no-commission option with wider spreads is offered instead on Forex products. |
| Crypto | Commission only, no raw-spread or no-commission choice on dedicated crypto products. Per-symbol rate not published in a single figure. |
Commission is the recurring cost of trading here, charged on every lot whether the trade wins or loses. It matters most if you scalp or trade high volume.
